By Scott Porter

Scott Porter: What are your current measurements and 40 time?

Albert Young: 5′9″/210, haven’t run my 40 at pro day yet, but that is coming up soon.
Scott Porter: What are your biggest strengths as a football player?

Albert Young: Well, I feel what really separates me is my ability to block as well as receive out of the backfield. Not only can I run, but those two things really separate me I think.
Scott Porter: What is your biggest football accomplishment?

Albert Young: Finishing 3rd on the all time rushing list at Iowa. That is a very long history and to be there near the top is very good. I feel that is definitely and honor when you consider all the good RB’s to come out of Iowa.
Scott Porter: Is there a player in the NFL that you would compare yourself to?

Albert Young: I’d compare myself to any of the all around backs in the NFL, one name that comes to mind is the Patriots RB Kevin Faulk.
Scott Porter: What kind of a person and player is an NFL team getting in Albert Young?

Albert Young: Someone who has good character, I’ve never been in trouble. I don’t put myself into bad situations, I work hard. They are getting a player who really appreciated the opportunity.
Scott Porter: What are you goals for the NFL?

Albert Young: I haven’t thought about specific goals for myself really, but making a team and contributing is one.
Scott Porter: Who is the toughest player you have ever faced?

Albert Young: There was a LB for Texas in our bowl game that was very impressive to me, #44.
Scott Porter: What is the toughest part about playing RB?

Albert Young: I would say the physical grind throughout the season. RB is a very physical position your body takes a big beating.
Scott Porter: Did you have a favorite team and player growing up as a kid?

Albert Young: My favorite player was Marshall Faulk. I will admit, I was always a front runner as far as favorite team goes.
Scott Porter: What hobbies do you have off the field?

Albert Young: I like to play video games, ps3, watch movies.
Scott Porter: What is your favorite memory while at Iowa?

Albert Young: Michigan State game last year, won in OT.
