Contributing reporter Scott Porter talks to one of the stars of this year’s Senior Bowl, defensive back Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

Scott Porter: Hi Dominique, what are your current measurements? Height? Weight? 40 time?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: 6′2″/185 4.32/40

Scott Porter: Coming from a small school a lot of people have not seen you on National television and you are playing versus smaller known schools, do you think that would have an impact on your draft status?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: It will a little, but not too much. the more I do the more they will realize that I can really play ball.

Scott Porter: What do you feel are your biggest strengths?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: My biggest strength is my straight line speed, and closing speed.

Scott Porter: Some have viewed you as a CB and others as a S, what do you view yourself as?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: I am both, but I play corner better.

Scott Porter: Who is the toughest player you have ever faced?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: The toughest players are the no names guys.

Scott Porter: What are you goals for the NFL?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: To be a pro bowler and excel for years and years.

Scott Porter: What kind a of a person is a team getting in Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: A guy that goes the extra mile and is a team leader.

Scott Porter: Is there a player in the NFL that reminds you of yourself?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: Rasheen Mathis, tall, fast, small school cornerback.

Scott Porter: What is the toughest part about playing Defensive Back?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: Staying disciplined in the scheme.

Scott Porter: What is your greatest football accomplishment?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: Helping build a winning team.

Scott Porter: What is something about yourself that many people do not know?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: That I am a real good dancer.

Scott Porter: Did you have a favorite player and team as a kid?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: I loved the 49ers, and Merton Hanks.

Scott Porter: What hobbies do you have off the field?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: Hanging with friends and family.

Scott Porter: Are you related to Antonio Cromartie of the Chargers? And if so how? (A lot of people ask this question)

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: Yes, Antonio is my cousin.
