Contributing reporter Scott Porter gives us another interview with a Wolfpack alum, free safety Miguel Scott.

Scott Porter: What are your current height, weight and 40?

Miguel Scott: 6′0″/200 lbs, run the 40 in the 4.4 range.

Scott Porter: How has playing in a tough conference like the ACC helped you prepare for the next level?

Miguel Scott: Playing in the ACC was a good advantage because every week you play against quality athletes, also NFL potential athletes.
Scott Porter: Who has influenced you the most during your college playing career?

Miguel Scott: Mostly my family.
Scott Porter: What have you learned most while playing at North Carolina State?

Miguel Scott: Playing at a high impact level. I’ve learned to never give up and always go 100% every play.

Scott Porter: What do you feel are your biggest strengths?

Miguel Scott: My speed and coverage ability.

Scott Porter: Is there a player in the NFL that reminds you of yourself?

Miguel Scott: I’ve been told that I remind people of Eagles S Brian Dawkins.

Scott Porter: What is the toughest part about playing Safety?

Miguel Scott: I would say the toughest part is being disciplined as far as reading the run and pass.
Scott Porter: What will you miss most about college?

Miguel Scott: I will miss the college atmosphere.
Scott Porter: What kind of a person and player is an NFL team getting in Miguel Scott?
Miguel Scott: Exciting and a player who loves football. A player willing to do what it takes for the team.
Scott Porter: What is your favorite football memory?

Miguel Scott: My favorite memory is blocking a punt and recovering it for a TD my freshmen year to open up the game.
Scott Porter: Who is the toughest player you have ever faced?

Miguel Scott: I would say Calvin Johnson (Georgia Tech) or Matt Ryan (Boston College).

Scott Porter: What are your hobbies off the field?

Miguel Scott: I love listening to music.
