Branden Ore Interview

The former Virginia Tech Hokie running back spoke to us regarding his plans for the upcoming season and his dismissal from Virginia Tech.
Scott Porter: What are your current measurements? 40? Height? Weight?
Branden Ore: 4.35 , 5′11, 209
Scott Porter: What is your biggest football accomplishment?
Branden Ore: 1st team All ACC, rushing for 200+ in back-to-back games.
Scott Porter: What would you tell an NFL team interested in drafting Branden Ore?
Branden Ore: I’m a good person, hard worker, and dedicated to the game.
Scott Porter: What goals do you have for the upcoming season?
Branden Ore: Just try to do whatever I can do to help my team win. I want to win a championship!!!
Scott Porter: How have you prepared this off season for the start of the season?
Branden Ore: Just working hard everyday with my cousin Darren Banks. We push one another and I think that brings the best out of both of us.
Scott Porter: The concern of your off field issues, what would you like to tell an NFL team about that?
Branden Ore: I’ve made a few mistakes in the past that I regret but it is what it is. I’ve learned from my mistakes and I think everything I’ve been through will help me to continue to grow and be the man I am today. I am a firm believer in the saying that everything happens for a reason. I’m just taking it one day at a time now.
Scott Porter: What is your favorite memory while playing college football?
Branden Ore: Have to be the Clemson game in 2006. All week before the game there was a lot of talk about James and CJ, but nothing was being said about me. At the end of the game all the talk was about me. I had 200+ yards and those two guys together only had about 40 yards.
Scott Porter: Did you have a favorite player and team as a kid?
Branden Ore: I’m a Cowboys fan all day long. I’m a bigger fan of Emmitt Smith, Marshall Faulk, and Barry Sanders.
Scott Porter: What are your hobbies off the field?
Branden Ore: I just enjoy relaxing when I can. I play a few video games and browse the internet a lot also.
