WR, RB, RT, CB, OLB, MLB— The Browns desperately need playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. After the drama that has gone down this year with Peyton Hillis in Cleveland, it is safe to assume that the upcoming free agent will not be back next season, leaving the Browns with the oft-injured Montario Hardesty at RB. The wide receiver position does not look much better for the Browns. Rookie Greg Little has provided some production, but the Browns are in serious need of a number one wide receiver. Cleveland could also use help on the offensive line as the aging Tony Pashos has slowed down and struggled with injuries. Artis Hicks, his replacement, is not a starting right tackle, leaving the position as an area of concern going into 2012. At cornerback, second year starter Joe Haden has been terrific, but the Browns still have problems with their depth at the position. Veteran Sheldon Brown is slowing down and there does not appear to be anyone behind him capable of stepping into the starting role. Linebacker could be an area of concern if MLB D’Qwell Jackson leaves in free agency at the end of the year. Also, the Browns could look to replace veteran OLB Scott Fujita in favor of a rookie with better pass-rushing skills.
