Scott Porter: What are your greatest strengths?

Scott Porter: What factors led you to declare for the 2014 NFL Draft?

Dayvon Ross: I feel like I am ready to go up against the top players in the game. I have good size, speed and strength. I am a good route runner and I run after the catch really well. I feel my game translates well to the NFL level and I feel once I get there I can prove myself to the NFL.

Scott Porter: What are you looking forward to the most about your opportunity in the NFL?

To win that award in a state with a ton of good football teams and a ton of good WR’s. To be recognized as the top WR in the state of Ohio was an incredible accomplishment to me.

Scott Porter: What hobbies do you have off the field?

Dayvon Ross: I am a big church guy. I have a strong faith and spend a lot of time going to my church and helping with church activities.

Scott Porter: What do you feel will be the biggest adjustment from the college level to the pro level?

Dayvon Ross: It will be a different playbook. I will have to learn an entirely different offense and adjust to the defenses. The competition will be much better and an adjustment phase.

Scott Porter: How do you feel your stack up against the top WR’s in this years draft?

Dayvon Ross: Well I started my career at UCLA and then ended up going the smaller school route. I feel like a lot of people don’t realize the talent I had coming out because I didn’t play 4 years at a D1 school.  I was in the same conference as Robert Woods who now plays for the Buffalo Bills and Marquise Lee who will be one of the first WR’s taken this season. I lead the conference in receiving yards over those two players who are great in themselves. I went to the powerade Nike football camp with Sammy Watkins and out performed him. I strongly believe I am the most talented WR in this years draft. I am looking forward to proving that once I get to the NFL. People are sleeping on me and I am about to wake them up.
