Scott Porter: What do you feel are your greatest strengths?
Josh Jarboe: My combination of speed and size. I am great at going after the ball at its highest point and coming down with the big play. I also run good routes.
Scott Porter: What are your goals for the NFL?
Josh Jarboe: I want to get a chance to make an impact. Right now I am focusing on just getting my chance. I really want to make this football thing work. I want to show a team I can contribute and be a great WR in this league.
Scott Porter: Is there a player in the NFL that you model your game after?
Josh Jarboe: I look up to Randy Moss because of his size and speed. I feel we have similar attributes. He is good at going deep and getting the ball at the highest point. I watch him a lot and model my game after his.
Scott Porter: What do you feel are your greatest football accomplishments?
Josh Jarboe: I made 2nd team all conference my junior year. I think getting to the situation I am in today is a major accomplishment. I graduated from college and did well on the field. Coming out of high school I had a lot of offers. It all ended up working out well at Arkansas State for me.
Scott Porter: What are your hobbies off the field?
Josh Jarboe: I like to play video games and spend time with my family. I really don’t have much time away from football to be honest.
Scott Porter: What are you looking forward to the most about your opportunity in the NFL?
Josh Jarboe: I am looking forward to getting there. Getting my chance to show people what I can do. I am looking forward to the challenges of playing at the highest level. Catching passes and making plays. I just want to go in and show people what I am capable of doing at the highest level.
Scott Porter: What would you tell a team interested in Josh Jarboe? Why should they give Josh Jarboe a shot?
Josh Jarboe: I work real hard for what I earn. I am a great pass catcher and very dependable. I am working hard to try to make it happen. I can help a team out and they will not be disappointed.
Scott Porter: What are you doing from now until NFL draft time to prepare yourself?
Josh Jarboe: I am working on my route running and as always catching the ball. You can never work enough on those two things. I am working on my speed and all of the fundamentals I can do. I am working hard with my trainer on every aspect I can to get better for when the opportunity comes.
