I had the honor of sitting down with one of the best safeties in this seasons NFL draft, Georgia S Bacarri Rambo.

Scott Porter: You could have declared as Junior with a good draft grade. What factors led to your decision to return for your Senior season at Georgia?

Bacarri Rambo: One of the reason I came back was to get my degree. I understand that football will not last forever. I feel like I had a lot of talent and I could really help the team win and get better. There were a lot of team goals I wanted to achieve like winning the SEC championship and the National championship. Another year could only help me get better. I felt we have a lot of unfinished business. I felt that I left a lot of plays on the field last year that I could make up for this year. I wanted to go out with a bang. You only get to play college football once.

Scott Porter: What do you feel are your greatest strengths?

Bacarri Rambo: My ball skills and learning what to do. I also feel I am a very good tackler. I am a leader in the secondary and a leader in general.

Scott Porter: What goals do you have for yourself?

Bacarri Rambo: From a team aspect I just want to help a team win and get in the playoffs. Winning the Super Bowl is the ultimate goal. Individually, I want to be pro bowler for years to come.

Scott Porter: What do you feel are your greatest accomplishments?

Bacarri Rambo: Making first team All-American. That was a great honor to me. When you consider how many college players there are and I received first team that is pretty amazing. That was an honor for people to select me on that team.

Scott Porter: What will you miss the most about playing at Georgia?

Bacarri Rambo: The fan base. The fan base in college football is something you don’t see every day. I will miss dog nation and my teammates as well as the coaching staff.

Scott Porter: What hobbies do you have off the field?

Bacarri Rambo: I like to hang out with friends, video games and shopping. I like to go shoe shopping. I have about 50 pairs of shoes right now.

Scott Porter: Playing in the toughest conference the SEC, how did that prepare you for the next level?

Bacarri Rambo: Well of course everyone know that the SEC is the most NFL ready competition. It has helped me playing in this conference because you are playing against NFL talented players weekly. I have played against a lot of players who are shining in the NFL right now and a lot that will be soon. The talent base in the NFL is unlike no other. It has helped me become a better player.

Scott Porter: What are you looking forward to the most about your opportunity in the NFL?

Bacarri Rambo: I am just looking forward to the honor of continuing to play the game that I love. Growing up this has always been a dream of mine. The dream is now close to becoming a reality and I am very excited for this moment. I am looking forward to playing with great players and leaving my legacy.

Scott Porter: What did being invited to the Senior Bowl mean to you?

Bacarri Rambo: It was a great honor. I get to play with the best players in college football. I get to match my talents up with the best of the best in the game from last year. I am really looking forward to it.
