Jermaine Robertson: Jermaine Robertson is a hardworking, elusive yet powerful fullback/ running back at Arkansas State University.
Joe Gaiter: How will you prove yourself on the field?
Jermaine Robertson: I will prove myself through what has gotten me to this point, my perfect formula hard work, dedication and a love to make collisions.
Joe Gaiter: What are your goals for the NFL?
Jermaine Robertson: My goals in the NFL is to perfect my job, if I do that everything else will follow. Switching from fullback to play running back my last year after changing coaches moving to a spread is a personal accomplishment, proves there is nothing I won’t do to play and be successful.
Joe Gaiter: What are your strengths?
Jermaine Robertson: My strengths are my quick feet enables me to get in and out of holes quickly, my ability to break a long run, power to get short yardage, and ability to catch and block.
Joe Gaiter: What is the hardest part about playing your position?
Jermaine Robertson: There really isn’t a hard part about either position, learn the techniques of blocking, run the play how its designed and bring fanatical effort that’s it.
Joe Gaiter: How will you elevate your skills to a NFL level?
Jermaine Robertson: Being out of college and having more time to devote to football without school, allows you more time to perfect your game. So do things how coach wants them done, and giving it my all is how my game will elevate.
Joe Gaiter: What will you miss most about Arkansas State University?
Jermaine Robertson: I will miss the fans at ASU the most, they are a big part of the team’s success this year.
Joe Gaiter: Who has been your biggest influence in your football career?
Jermaine Robertson: My coaches from high school to college I have taken something positive from them all.
Joe Gaiter: Who in the NFL has your style of play?
Jermaine Robertson: often look at film of Mike Alstott, Tom Rathman, and Lorenzo Neal, Leonard Weaver, I take something from each of their games.
