Desmond Marrow: Nothing will change I’ve been proving myself all my life. It comes down to a mindset and the ability to work hard for what you want in life and this game of football is what I want in life and on the field I will stop at nothing until my goals are reached.
Joe Gaiter: What goals do you have for the NFL?
Desmond Marrow: Get drafted, sign a NFL contract and make a team. Make a name for myself in the league be known as a guy who played his hardest and was always accountable.
Joe Gaiter: What are some of your accomplishments?
Desmond Marrow: First to ever graduate from college in my family, that’s my most valued accomplishment everything else comes second to that.
Joe Gaiter: What are your biggest strengths on the field?
Desmond Marrow: My size along with my speed and my ability to run with receivers that are smaller. I worked on my tackling to also be known as someone who isn’t afraid to come up and support the run.
Joe Gaiter: What is the hardest part about playing your position?
Desmond Marrow: It’s 50/50 you’re either doing good or your not. But that’s why you love it every play is a challenge and you have to be willing to accept that challenge every time you step on the field.
Joe Gaiter: How will you elevate your skills to a NFL level?
Desmond Marrow: Learn be willing to learn from the veterans and the coaches and just remain humble and hungry until it’s my time.
Joe Gaiter: What will you miss the most about playing at Toledo?
Desmond Marrow: The friendships and the Saturday nights and afternoons around college football.There is nothing like college football.
Joe Gaiter: Who has been your biggest influence in your football career?
Desmond Marrow: My uncle Vince Marrow.
Joe Gaiter: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Desmond Marrow: In the NFL as an all Pro and a successful business man.
