Scott Porter: What do you feel are your biggest strengths?

Bradie Ewing: My natural leader ability on the field. I have great character and am a valuable guy in the locker room. I am a very solid blocker and bring a lot of things to the table at the FB position. I am good at catching the ball as I have good hands and as well as run the ball. I have been good in short yardage situations and I am a very good route runner.

Scott Porter: What are your goals for the NFL?

Bradie Ewing: My main goal is to find a team and in that just find a team that believes in me and trusts in my ability and skill set. I want to be successful and play for as long as I can. I want to contribute in whatever way possible to help my team win. I know that NFL careers can be very short so I will work my butt off to stay in the league for as long as I can. I will give 100% and do anything I need to last.

Scott Porter: Is there a player in the NFL that you would say reminds you of yourself?

Bradie Ewing: Well I am a huge Green Bay Packers fan and I think their FB John Kuhn is similar to me. I feel his versatility is a lot like mine. I like his ability to play FB and TB if needed.

Scott Porter: What do you feel are your greatest accomplishments at Wisconsin?

Bradie Ewing: I feel being art of a great season and era at Wisconsin is a great accomplishment for me and my teammates. We had a great season this year and played in two Rose bowls while I was here. We also won two big 10 championships and were the winners of the first ever championship game outright.

Scott Porter: Describe yourself as a person and player.

Bradie Ewing: I am someone who is very true to what I do and my job. I have a great work ethic and will do whatever I need to do to become a better player. I am very disciplined and I do things the right way. I am accountable and I sell out. I give 100% and I am 100% committed to whatever I do. I will do whatever is asked of me to be part of success and contribute.

Scott Porter: Coming from the big 10, how do you feel playing in the conference has helped enhance your progress towards the NFL?

Bradie Ewing: I think it has helped a lot. The big 10 is a very physical conference. Week in and week out you are playing against very good programs who have solid defenses. Each game is a challenge no matter what team you’re playing in the conference. I felt like playing at Wisconsin prepared me very well. Each week our preparation was extremely good. I felt like we practiced harder than most college football teams. We had 2 full padded practices every week. Tuesday and Wednesday we would practice real hard in full pads, and on Thursday we would practice real hard in half pads. Playing the quality opponents that we played helped prepare myself for the league as well. The style of offense we have here at Wisconsin is very valuable as I go forward. Our coaching staff and system we have here really got us as ready as we could have asked for.

Scott Porter: What hobbies do you have off the field?

Bradie Ewing: I like hanging out with family. I enjoy my free time with my fiance. I love spending time outdoors. I am from Southwest Wisconsin so I am a big hunter and fisher. I pretty much like doing anything in the outdoors when I have the free time.

Scott Porter: What will you miss most about college football?

Bradie Ewing: The guys, I will miss being around the guys on my football team and our support staff. I have met so many great people here. The sports staff and players as well as the buzz around campus. I will miss all of the buzz prior to the game. The fans were so dedicated here before game it was always BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ!!!

Scott Porter: What will you be doing from now until draft time to prepare yourself?

Bradie Ewing: Right now I am in Waukesha, Wisconsin training with NX Level and Brad Arnett. He has been great. He understands how to prepare me and we are working on getting me as well prepared as we can. He really understands the body well and what is needed to improve. It has been a real exciting experience thus far. I have been invited to the Senior bowl and I will leave for that this Sunday. Once that is over I will come back to Waukesha and continue to train. I am on the waiting list for the combine so I am real hopeful that I will get that invite. I will have my pro day and I will be working my butt off on my training and nutrition
