Cordarro Law: I feel that my biggest strengths are my speed and my awareness to get to the ball. I think the combination of those two things allows me to make the plays I have made.
Scott Porter: What are your goals for the NFL?
Cordarro Law: I want to be a top pass rusher in the league. I want to lead the NFL in sacks and become that feared pass rush for many years. I want to play in the NFL for a very long time. Those are my two biggest goals.
Scott Porter: What NFL player do you model your game after?
Cordarro Law: Lamarr Woodley of the Steelers. I watch him a lot. He is an amazing player and guy I model my game after. He finds a way to get to the ball and make plays.
Scott Porter: What is your favorite memory while at Southern Mississippi?
Cordarro Law: Beating Houston in the conference Championship this season. We were ranked and Houston was undefeated so it was a big win for the program. I would also say winning the New Orleans bowl last year on a blocked field goal at the end of the game. Both were very exciting games and big moments for us.
Scott Porter: What type of player and person is an NFL team getting in Cordarro Law?
Cordarro Law: They will be getting a great football player who has great leadership skills. They will be getting a trustworthy person who works very hard and helps those around him become better.
Scott Porter: What do you feel are your greatest accomplishments?
Cordarro Law: Being voted team captain by my teammates as a senior. I really stepped up this year and became the leader of a very good defense.
Scott Porter: What hobbies do you have off the field?
Cordarro Law: I have a son so I enjoy spending my free time with him. I also play a lot of video games with my teammates.
Scott Porter: Who has been your biggest influence throughout your career?
Cordarro Law: I would say that my brother Jeremy Law has been my biggest influence. He had an opportunity to play college basketball but he didn’t capitalize on it. I have learned a lot from him and he has taught me to be level headed and work very hard for what I want.
Scott Porter: What type of scheme/system do you think you fit into in the NFL?
Cordarro Law: It doesn’t really matter. Whatever system I get put into I will make plays. I think I fit in with a 3-4 and a 4-3 defense. I will do my job no matter what team and system I am brought into. I look forward to the challenge and being a professional.
