The Louisville Cardinals offense impressed many in 2010. Scott Porter sits down with the anchor to that offense in offensive lineman Bryan Stingily.
Scott Porter: What do you feel are your greatest strengths?
Byron Stingily: Some of my greatest strengths I think would be my feet, and pass protection.
Scott Porter: What are your goals for the NFL?
Byron Stingily: My goals in the NFL are to start as soon as possible and to stay in the league for a number of years.
Scott Porter: What are your greatest football accomplishments?
Byron Stingily: My greatest football accomplishment is making it to my first bowl game in St. Petersburg, Florida. Another one would be making second team all big east.
Scott Porter: What player in the NFL do you model your game after and why?
Byron Stingily: D BRICK from the Jets. He’s just real good in pass protection and I don’t see him get beat very often.
Scott Porter: What are your hobbies off the field?
Byron Stingily: I just like to chill and watch movies.
Scott Porter: What will you miss most about college football?
Byron Stingily: I will miss my teammates, I made a lot of good friends at Louisville while playing football here.
Scott Porter: What got you interested in football and when did you think you had a shot at a pro career?
Byron Stingily: I started playing in high school my sophomore year because a coach kept begging me to play it, it wasn’t until I got to Louisville that i thought I had a shot.
Scott Porter: How has Charlie Strong impacted your career?
Byron Stingily: I think the best thing that happen to my college career was Charlie Strong. He really gets the best out of you. Somebody you would really want to play for.
