Marcus Franklin: I would just say the preparation that goes with the WR position. You have to adjust depending on the defense and match up and be well prepared each week and adjust.

Marcus Franklin: My ultimate goal is to win a Super Bowl. I want to be the best I can be and not sell myself short of my talent. A short term goal of mine is to make an impact right away even if that means doing it on special teams or whatever else is needed.
Scott Porter: Who has been your biggest influence throughout your career?

Marcus Franklin: I think going from High School and getting a division 1 scholarship offer from Wyoming is a major accomplishment. I also think a big accomplishment was playing at Abilene Christian and winning our conference championship and going 11-0 was big. We won the ring with a lot of talent such as Johnny Knox, Bernard Scott, Edmund Gates and myself. Last year I had 5 touchdowns in one game and won player of the week. I also played in the Eastham Energy All-Star game.
Scott Porter: What will you be doing from now until the NFL draft to prepare yourself?
Marcus Franklin: I will be training very hard. Right now I am training 6 days a week. I am taking care of the important things. I am just very happy to be at this point of my life.
Scott Porter: What hobbies do you have off the field?
Marcus Franklin: I like to read the newspaper especially the sports page. I like fishing, reading and when I am not working out. I live in Texas so from time to time I have some time to myself to fish.
