Scott Porter: What do you feel are your biggest strengths?
Marcus Gilchrist: I feel that diagnosing plays fast is one of my biggest strengths. I watch a lot of film and it helps me know where to be on the field. It allows me to read and know what is happening for me to adjust.

Scott Porter: What are your goals for the NFL?

Marcus Gilchrist: I just want to come in and do as well as I can. I want to contribute in anyway I can to help my team be successful.

Scott Porter: Which NFL player reminds you of yourself and why?
Marcus Gilchrist: Charles Woodson of the Packers because he can play so many different positions. He can play the CB, the nickel and I feel he could even play S like me. He isn’t scared of anything and plays very physical and hits well.
Scott Porter: What do you feel are your greatest football accomplishments?

Marcus Gilchrst: I think as a team just seeing each other be successful means more than anything. We have a lot of players with termendous ability and growing together and helping each other be the best we can be is a great accomplishment.

Scott Porter: You were invited to the combine, what does that mean to you?

Marcus Gilchrist: It means a lot. It is an honor to be invited to the combine because it shows your hard work has paid off to be honored by your peers as one of the best. They are telling you that you are one of the top guys and you get to compete at the highest level to showcase your talent.

Scott Porter: What will you miss most about college football at Clemson?

Marcus Gilchrist: The guys that I went to war with the past few years. Day in and day out we were together fighting. During the season and in the off season. Working hard together in spring ball and whatever it was.

Scott Porter: What do you look forward to the most about your opportunity in the NFL?

Marcus Gilchrist: Just contributing at the highest level with the best. I look forward to playing with so many great players and coaches. I look forward to digesting whatever I can from them to make myself the best player I can.

Scott Porter: What are your hobbies off the field?

Marcus Gilchrst: I am big technology and music person.

Scott Porter: How would you describe your style of play?

Marcus Gilchrist: I’ve always hard DB’s are suppose to be able to play any position in the DB field, and I feel I am that type of player. I work very hard and I have many different styles of game that I can use depending on who I am going up against. I can play S and CB as I am very flexible and can line up all over the field. There are a lot of different things I bring to a team from the DB position.
