Scott Porter: What do you feel are your biggest strengths?
Lyle Leong Jr: I would say my biggest strengths are making plays and getting open. I get good separation.
Scott Porter: What are your goals for the NFL?
Lyle Leong Jr: To help a team win a Super Bowl and be the best and my position. I want to come in and help my team win.
Scott Porter: What do you feel will be the toughest transition from the college level to the pro level?
Lyle Leong Jr: I think the speed and strength of the game will be the toughest transition. Players in the NFL are much faster and much stronger then what you go up against every week in college football.
Scott Porter: What type of player is an NFL team getting in Lyle Leong Jr?
Lyle Leong Jr: They will be getting a hard worker who is very honest and love the game of football. I love to succeed and will work as hard as I can to be successful and help a team win.
Scott Porter: What player in the NFL reminds you of yourself and why?
Lyle Leong Jr: Johnny Knox of the Chicago Bears. We have the same body type and both run good routes and get good separation.
Scott Porter: What do you feel are your biggest accomplishments?
Lyle Leong Jr: Personally being 2nd all time in Texas Tech history in touchdowns. From a team accomplishment I would say being Co-Champs of the South.
Scott Porter: What will you miss most about college football?
Lyle Leong Jr: I will miss the atmosphere the most. Going out there every Saturday in front of the students and getting pumped up for a game with the fans. I will miss my teammates. The NFL is more of a business so the atmosphere will change.
Scott Porter: What hobbies do you have off the field?
Lyle Leong Jr: Music, I love making music. That is easily my #1 hobby after way from the game.
Scott Porter: What will you be doing from now until NFL draft time to prepare yourself for you chance?
Lyle Leong Jr: I will be working on my weaknesses. I will make sure my weaknesses aren’t far from my strengths to be best prepared and be a well rounded player.
Scott Porter: Did you have a favorite team and player growing up?
Lyle Leong Jr: I was a big fan of Brett Fave and the Green Bay Packers.
Scott Porter: You were selected in the Eastham Energy All-Star game this season in Arizona. What was that experience like for you?
Lyle Leong Jr: It was a great experience and a learning experience for me. I took everything I could from the time spent there and used it. I was really blessed to play in the game. It was nice to meet a lot of the other members in the All-Star game. It was nice to see how I faired going up against those guys. I was going up against some really good players so it was nice to see where I stood. Overall I met a lot of awesome people during my time at the Eastham game so I felt overall the game was very helpful. Playing in the NFL has been a life long dream of mine so it was nice to see where I stood.
