Scott Porter: What do you feel are your biggest strengths?
M.D. Jennings: I feel that my biggest strengths are my knowledge of the game and my ability to pick up on things quickly. I feel as if I am always in the right position on the field. I have a very high football IQ. My speed is also a big strength of mine. I have a good size and speed combination that teams look for in a DB.
Scott Porter: What are your goals for the NFL?
M.D. Jennings: My goals are to secure a roster spot and play 10 plus years in the NFL at a high level.
Scott Porter: What will you be doing from now until the draft to prepare yourself for your shot at the NFL?
M.D. Jennings: I am training in Huntsville, Alabama with Body Creation right now. I am training hard for my pro day. Andy McCoy is my trainer down there and he has worked hard with me to be prepared.
Scott Porter: Is there an NFL player that reminds you of yourself and why?
M.D. Jennings: Darren Sharper. I compare him to me because we both came from a smaller school. He had a long successful NFL career and proved a lot of people wrong.
Scott Porter: What do you feel will be the toughest adjustment from the college level to the NFL level?
M.D. Jennings: I would say the speed of the game. Everyone will be faster and stronger than the college level.
Scott Porter: What do you feel are your biggest football accomplishments?
M.D. Jennings: I would say being first team all Sun-Belt. I had 84 tackles last year and 3 Interceptions. I posted good numbers.
Scott Porter: What will you miss most about college football?
M.D. Jennings: I will miss being around the guys I came in here with. I have established a lot of friendships here at Arkansas State and I will miss that.
Scott Porter: What type of person is an NFL team getting in M.D. Jennings?
M.D. Jennings: A hard working guy. I have no off field issues and I am a good clean player on and off the field.
Scott Porter: Who has been your biggest influence throughout your playing career?
M.D. Jennings: I would say my coach Darren Coffey. He pushed me hard and has been there for me on and off the field.
Scott Porter: What are your hobbies off the field?
M.D. Jennings: I like to hunt and fish. I like hunting deer and rabbits.
