Scott Porter: What do you feel are your biggest strengths?
Frank Kearse: My explosiveness off the ball and being able to move people at the point of attack.
Scott Porter: What are your goals for the NFL?
Frank Kearse: I just want to help my team in any way possible to win a Super Bowl.
Scott Porter: Is there an NFL player that reminds you of yourself?
Frank Kearse: I would go with DeMarcus Ware of the Dallas Cowboys. I can’t cover a TE like him but we are the same type of players in terms of a passion and commitment to the game. I play with the same passion he does and make plays like he does to help my team.
Scott Porter: What do you feel are your biggest accomplishments?
Frank Kearse: I would say just playing 4 years of college football is an accomplishment. Many people dream of it but not many get to do it. Just being successful at this level like I have been is an accomplishment.
Scott Porter: What type of a person is an NFL team getting in Frank Kearse?
Frank Kearse” They will be getting a guy of high character. I am a very hard work and very dedicated to the game. I work hard on and off the field. It’s more than just playing football to me. I am set to graduate this year and am helping with the Boys and Girls club.
Scott Porter: Who has been your biggest influence throughout your career?
Frank Kearse: My biggest influence has been my mentor Edwin Bailey. Edwin played professional football for the Seattle Seahawks. He is a great guy who has helped me a lot. Every time I make a big decision I asked Edwin for advice.
Scott Porter: What will you miss most about college football?
Frank Kearse: I will definitely miss the bands that go along with the college football playing field. They don’t have bands in the NFL.
Scott Porter: What do you feel will be the toughest transition from the college level to the Pro level?
Frank Kearse: I heard the speed of the game will be much different but I think I will adjust to that well. I am not afraid of any of the challenges the NFL has. I am looking forward to them. I just need to adjust and show my talent at the next level.
Scott Porter: What will you be doing from now until draft time to prepare yourself?
Frank Kearse: I will be working out and being smart about the way I do things. I will work hard and smart. I will be watching a lot of film to pick up on things and prepare myself as well as I can for when I get my chance. I am training in Huntsville, Alabama on improving everything I can to get ready for the NFL. I am looking forward and feel I am ready.
Scott Porter: What are your hobbies off the field?
Frank Kearse: I watch a lot of movies. I also like going to the beach and relaxing when I get the chance.
