Scott Porter: What is the hardest part about play safety?

Antwine Perez: The fact that you have to know everything, where everybody is going to go such. It is kind of like the QB of the defense, other than the MIKE LB the safety position consists of a lot of responsibilities in terms of knowing where others need to be. You have to know where everyone is going to lineup on every play. That makes the safety position a challenge.

Scott Porter: What do you feel are your biggest strengths?

Antwine Perez: My biggest strengths are my hitting ability. I am known for my tackling and punishing players who have the ball. I like to come up and make the big hit and I am around the ball a lot. Those things are my biggest qualities as a safety.

Scott Porter: What are your goals?

Antwine Perez: I just want to prove to people that I can play at the next level. I will go out there and compete and prove that to everyone.

Scott Porter: Is there a player in the NFL that reminds your of yourself or that you model your game after?

Scott Porter: What will you miss most about college football?

Antwine Perez: The atmosphere, no doubt, will be what I miss the most. There is no other experience like college football. The student sections, the fans who come watch us play, there is nothing like it and that will be missed greatly.

Scott Porter: What hobbies do you have off the field?

Antwine Perez: I like to play video games. Hanging out with friends and family when I can are things I really enjoy. I am a laid back person who really doesn’t do much outside football.

Scott Porter: Did you have a favorite team and player as a kid?

Antwine Perez: The Eagles were my favorite team growing up. Deion Sanders was my favorite player. I loved his style while he played. I was not a Cowboys fan but he was my favorite player to watch. I loved the way he played.

Scott Porter: Who has been your biggest influence?
