Scott Porter: What do you feel are your biggest strengths?
Brian Rolle: My speed and my quickness are two of my biggest strengths. My ability to read and diagnose plays. I am very instinctive linebacker and all of those make me the linebacker I have become.
Scott Porter: What are your goals for the NFL?
Brian Rolle: I want to have a very long career in the NFL. I want to play and have fun playing the game that I have always loved. It isn’t really about the money for me, I just love to play the game and want to play it for a very long time at the highest level I can.
Scott Porter: What NFL player reminds you of yourself?
Brian Rolle: New Orleans Saints LB Jonathan Vilma. He isn’t the biggest LB but he makes up for it by the way he plays the game. He is quick and fast and plays bigger than he is. He creates havoc in both the run and passing game. I have always looked up to him and modeled my game after his.
Scott Porter: What do you feel are your greatest accomplishments?
Brian Rolle: I think making it this far is a great accomplishment. People have always doubted me. They didn’t think I was big enough to play in the Big 10 as a linebacker. Playing at the level I have and for the team I have has been a successful accomplishment itself.
Scott Porter: What will you miss most about college football at Ohio State?
Brian Rolle: The relationships I have come across here. I have been with some guys for three, four or even five years. They are like real brothers to me. It has been amazing the people I have met here. The NFL is more like a business but college is fun and I have built so many friendships. These are guys I will have in my wedding and I have very lucky to have met the people I have.
Scott Porter: What hobbies do you have off the field?
Brian Rolle: Playing video games, movies and bowling are my biggest enjoyments off the field.
Scott Porter: How would you describe yourself as a person?
Brian Rolle: I am very accountable, I have great character. I have a very high motor that never shuts down. I am always smiling, I am easy going, I work hard and I am very ambitious and honest.
Scott Porter: What are you looking forward to the most about your shot at making an NFL roster?
Brian Rolle: Being there and going against the great players in the world. The NFL gives you a chance to play vs. the best and it is the best challenge to match your ability up with. You’re going against the strongest, fastest and playing against the greats like Peyton Manning.
Scott Porter: Did you have a favorite team and player growing up?
Brian Rolle: The Miami Dolphins were my team, always loved the Dolphins. They were my favorite team since I could even talk.
