Lions: don’t need a new WR starter. They have Calvin Johnson at #1 and spent big money to acquire Nate Burleson to be the #2, which moves Bryant Johnson to #3, and he looks a lot healthier and better this year than last year, so he should better fit his role.
Replace WR starter with CB starter. The Lions have cast-offs and a rookie starting at CB.
As far as depth goes, you could remove RB and replace it with OG. The Lions have virtually no depth at OG behind Stephen Peterman and Rob Sims (Manny Ramirez just doesn’t cut it), but they have plenty of depth at RB behind Jahvid Best: Kevin Smith, the third-round third-year RB is a solid back who can catch, pass-block, and run, even if he’s not the most threatening pure ballcarrier. Maurice Morris is also a dependable vet, who has very little wear & tear on him for how many seasons he’s played. The Lions also have Aaron Brown, a talented speed back from the 2009 draft who could push for a depth position.
